Assuria Auditor AutoUpdate 71 release – full support for HP-UX 11i V3 (11.31)

Introduction

This update enables the Assuria Auditor HP-UX agents to provide full support for HP-UX 11i V3 and is a content update. The AutoUpdate contains updated console content, new and updated checks and policies.

The update is compatible with, and suitable for application to, both Assuria Auditor and ISS System Scanner agents.

Specifically:

• Before adding an agent running HP-UX 11.31 to the console, the console must be at AU#71 or later

• After adding the agent to console, it should be updated to AU#71 or later before running any scans.

NFS checks and policy Update for HPUX 11 classes

Modifications and new checks written for the HPUX 11 class to support HPUX 11.31

• HP HP-UX 11 (PA-RISC)

• HP HP-UX 11 (IA-64)

Policy Variables added for HPUX Itanium

Policy Variables have been added to support the HPUX 11 Itanium class
