Introduction |
X-Press Update 50 is a
security content update, containing updated security content in the form
of new and updated checks and policies, and updated patch databases,
policy navigators and console database content. The update is compatible
with, and suitable for application to, both Assuria Auditor and ISS
System Scanner agents. |

Content based on newly published vendor security bulletins (or similar)
is included for the agents listed below:

Additionally a replacement version of the check 'reg-multihomed-01' is
issued for Microsoft Windows 2000 (Server and Professional) and
Microsoft Windows Server 2003, in order to fix a potential bug in the
previously issued version.
On
the console, the policy navigators for the various versions of Solaris
have been restructured to better reflect the 'architecture class'
structure for that operating system as seen in Auditor's tree view. The
information dialog on the transition of Auditor from ISS to Assuria has
been removed.
