Terry Pudwell - Executive Chairman & Co-Founder

Terry has over 20 years executive management experience with private and public companies in the UK and US and over 35 years experience in the IT industry generally. He has worked in IT security since the early 1990's and has held senior executive roles in a number of industries, including consumer electronics, e-commerce, online media, online marketing and motorsport.


With a background in professional services and consulting with ICL in the UK, Terry led the establishment of March Information Systems Ltd in 1990, an early leader and pioneer in vulnerability assessment and policy compliance software technology. In late 1998, March was acquired by ISS Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia. Following the acquisition, Terry held the position of Managing Director of ISS Group Ltd, the wholly owned UK subsidiary of ISS Inc. and subsequently joined the executive management team of ISS Inc.

 

Nick Connor MBCS, CITP, MMIS - Managing Director & Co-Founder

Nick brings more than 40 years of broad information technology experience, technical, marketing and managerial experience to Assuria.  Since 1995 he has focused on IT security in marketing and product management positions with March Information Systems Ltd and Internet Security Systems (ISS).

 

Previously Group Marketing Manager at Gresham Computing Plc whom he joined in 1993, after a 26 year career with ICL, where he had extensive Product Marketing, Project and Business Management experience in both open systems and mainframes.  Nick has a strong international experience in both the US and Europe. He was founder chairman of the worldwide multi-vendor Tuxedo resellers group, and represented ICL on Unix International OLTP working groups.

 

Geoff Johnstone - Chief Technology Officer

Geoff joined Assuria from a Government organisation where he held the position of lead embedded software development engineer and has an extensive background in requirements capture, software architecture, design and implementation. On joining Assuria, Geoff held lead responsibility for architecture definition, design, implementation and testing of Assuria Log Manager, a secure audit log management solution. His CTO role also encompasses technology selection, distributed security software architecture design, product and release management, development process management, quality improvement and defining best practice guidelines.

 

Geoff holds an M.Sc. with Distinction in Software Engineering from the University of Oxford and a B.Sc. (Hons), Class I in Computer Science from the University ofWarwick, where he gained the highest final result in the Computer Science Department’s history.

 

Chris Wood - Principal Engineer - Host Based Products

Chris brings extensive software product design and development experience to Assuria  He is an experienced software engineer, with excellent development expertise gained through a variety of design and architectural projects in ICL, March Information Systems and Internet Security Systems Inc. Experienced at working at different levels from valued contributor, through technical leadership to development management. Latterly, Chris was engineering manager for ISS's Reading Development Labs, responsible for the development and maintenance of ISS's server host based products, including RealSecure Server Sensor and System Scanner.

 

Steve Saxton - Principal Engineer - Scanning Products

Steve joined Assuria from a senior engineering role within ISS's Reading Development Labs, working on the ISS server host based suite of products and brings wide ranging experience in full life-cycle development and design methodologies to Assuria.

Prior to his current role he was the technical design authority on Assuria Remote Adapter (RA), a remote (agentless) vulnerability scanning engine, leading the design, development and subsequent product releases.

He is currently responsible for the roadmap, technical direction and team leadership for the Assuria Auditor product family.

Steve holds a BSC in Computer Science from the University of Manchester.

 

Kriss Warner - Vice President, Americas

Based in Toronto, Kriss is responsible within Assuria for all customer relationships, channels, and sales activities in the Americas. He brings with him more than 25 years experience in direct and channel sales and technical support - 15 of those as a VP of Sales for growth companies. Prior to Assuria, he was at Cyberdine, a security solution provider managing direct and channel sales globally. Earlier, Kriss established a sales channel in Canada for Epson and a global sales and support channel for Branch Security, based in Atlanta. Kriss's many years in the consulting field allows him to share a myriad of solutions with partners, that uniquely supports the efforts of our global partners.
